Ambulance Historical Society and Museum

The Union wishes to advise members of the Ambulance Historical Society (AHS) who oversee the Ambulance Museum in Bayswater (see Ambulance Historical Society video on AEAVIC Members page).

The Museum is run solely by volunteers including retired Paramedic Chas Martin who is the co-ordinator. It relies on small membership fees and donations to purchase vintage ambulance and equipment.

Membership is only $25 for 3 years or $10 for 1 year and includes unlimited free family museum admission, quarterly newsletters, members’ merchandise discount and more.

Members are encouraged to join so that the Museum has a strong future and can afford to build on its current fleet. Members are also invited to volunteer time if able to however this is not a condition on membership.

Please fill out and download the membership form below which can be sent into the AEAV at aeavic@unitedvoice.org.au.

It is also worth having a look around your branch for old equipment, uniform or memorabilia. Many Rural branches have an old shed out the back which may be full of gear that the AHS would love to have.
