VALE

Owen Curnow

It is with deep sadness that we advise of the passing of long term AEAV Member this morning [4th April 2017], after a long battle with cancer.

Owen was due to celebrate his 30th anniversary as a paramedic and 30 years as an AEAV member.  Owen was a MICA Paramedic and was very proud and honoured to be able to work as a MICA Paramedic.

Owen is remembered by his colleagues as being very genuine and generous, overall a ‘good bloke’.  He was committed to serving the Bendigo community and supporting his colleagues, his passing will be felt by many.

The Executive of the AEA-V, on behalf of its members, wish to express their sincere sympathy to Owen’s wife Ellen and their two children, his family, friends and colleagues.

We also extend our thoughts to everyone at Bendigo Branch and surrounds.

He will be sadly missed.
